Helena by Albert Vazquez & Jose Dalmau
Helena by Albert Vazquez & Jose Dalmau is from the Acuarela collection. The decorative striped design features two styles of wider red stripes. The first one is a solid red band with small house detail. While the other is a mottled effect red with a touch of white. These alternating red stripes are separated by narrower cream stripes bordered with yellow, trellis-like pattern. There is added colour with the green laurel looping and intertwining through the yellow trellis. The small buildings that appear in the pattern are in yellow with decorative red swirls directly above and below. Overall there is a European feel to this fabric design from the Spanish design pair Albert Vazquez & Jose Dalmau.
We recommend using this fabric in a sitting room with high windows. This style of fabric would better suit a traditionally styled home. The stripes guide the eye through the design.
This is a medium weight cotton fabric that is strong and soft. The fabric is suitable for curtains and blinds as well as some light upholstery.
We would opt to use the fabric for blinds due to the striped design offering complete pattern coverage. Equally, the fabric can be used for curtains as the fabric drapes well.
Alternatively, this striped fabric would look the part used to upholster a chair for the conservatory.
The fabric measures 1.47metres in width, excluding selvedge.
The stripes offer all over pattern coverage with the house pattern repeat measuring at 30centimetres.
We stock our fabrics on the roll and cut fabric for customer orders as a singular continuous piece.
